We do, however, always try to give very accurate details of the items listed and will always answer any questions to the best of our abilities!This is an amazing antique meat cleaver / butcher's knife that measures approximately 16 3/4" in total length (from tip of blade to bottom of wooden handle). The blade itself is approximately 8 3/4" in length and 5 1/2" wide (at its' top widest point).This is a solid piece weighing over 3 lbs! It is sturdy and has a great edge! These is a thin split/crack in the wooden handle on one side (see photos). But we don't see any reason why it can't be used for its intended purpose! Would be a great piece for a hunter or butcher, or it would make an amazing piece to add to your growing collection! It has wonderful character even though we cannot see a maker's mark any where on it.
