THIS IS A BEAUTIFUL ANTIQUE MEDITERRANEAN DESIGN TELEPHONE IN PERFECT CONDITION IT IS NOT A REPRODUCTION This is an extremely rare model and in exceptional condition. It is both rare and very beautiful. The phone is in excellent working condition, reception is just a good as it is on your modern telephone It has the old cloth phone cord and four prong wall plug but has been adapted with a modern telephone connection to allow you to plug in and use right away Bakelite hand set is in near perfect condition Ornate Gold Body of Phone is perfect, no scratches, dents or scuffs One holder on left side of cradle has been broken off Gold plating on handset and cradle is faded and rubbed in some areas The dial has been lightly oiled and is as smooth as glass This is a TRUE Collector's Piece Phone is 9" tall The base of the phone is 7 1/2" wide,6 1/2" deep The Hand Set is 9 3/4" long Dial is 3 1/4" Across Total Weight almost 6 lbs I have never seen a phone like this on ebay or other auction site. This elegant Mediterranean style would make a stunning addition to any collection or home. The phone is all metal except the bakelite handset and base.
