Description Here is an antique smokers pipe, with an amber mouthpiece, a silver band stamped with STERLING SILVER, and a meerschaum? bowl end shaped into a large birds claw holding the pipe bowl. Is this meerschaum? I think it is. The pipe comes in a velvet lined case (some wear to the inner velvet). The pipe has been smoked but is still a nice pipe to own. It measures 5. 1/2 inches straight across. Overall in GOOD condition, there are bite marks in the amber this is also cracked alot, but not fragile. The silver band has crumpled on the end, and there looks to be glue here too. Also the base of the pipe where it's black, has rubbed revealing white underneath, I don't know if this is the original meerschaum or a little bit of restoration perhaps? Either way, a nice antique pipe! Please see the close up pictures for more detail.
