Very nice regulator clock from the Meiji Clock Company of Japan. They were an affiliate of Ansonia and were only in business from 1895 to 1910. That's as much history as I can offer. This clock is in wonderful condition and runs accurately. Has it's original key and pendulum and the wood is beautifully aged. The face is very clean which is unusual for many older clocks. I shot a closeup of the great little wood latch that holds the glass cover shut. Very simple but effective. This clock measures 12-1/2 inches wide at the top by 22-1/2 inches tall and 4 inches deep. It was definitely made to withstand many years of use and being an avid clock lover I have to say it has done quite well! Weighs 6 pounds 10 ounces before packaging so estimated shipping weight will be around 9 pounds. Please wait for an invoice for exact shipping cost. Thank you.
