This lamp seems to have a sealed light rust finish. Unlike some lamps of this design, the circular disk at the top of the vertical element was a light reflector. Although it is no longer shiney, that area on this lamp has raised lettering, which although difficult to read seems to read D'ESPAGNE .......... check out the first photo.The lamp is in good condition for its age. Some similar lamps that I've seen are missing the cover for the oil drum, however, this one is complete.I'm not a dealer. I'm a retired collector of antiques for over forty years. Time has come for me to sell out most of my collection. Please check out all the items I'll be listing.
