For sale is a very primitive cash or till drawer. On the top of the box it says A Miles Alarm Till Mfg Co Established 1859, Incorporated 1869 Providence R.I. Then there is a picture of the world with Africa Europe and America on the front. Also a drawer picture with different denominations is pictured. This box has a large crack across the top that does not go through the entire thickness. The box lid glides either forward or backward . There is no alarm but as you can see in the pictures there is still the metal works as well as the cash drawer. This box is large and measures 18" wide 17" long and 4 3/4" deep. It is a great old collectible part of early Americana. It is quite heavy and solid wood.
