This auction is for a Large antique Purple & Blue slag glass lamp shade with filigree overlay. This shade was part of a Miller lamp base. ConditionThis beautiful lamp shade holds 6 curved slag glass panels with swirled Carmel color. It also holds 6 blue slag glass panels. None of panels are broken, Several of the panels have minor chips, seen only on the underside. There are some missing clips for the shades, they do not effect holding the shades at all. They are hard to see in the pics. The shade is solid and the filigree looks solid as well. The shade filigree has stretched in spots and can be reinforced to ensure their is no seperation.The elaborate metal frame is exquisitely detailed, with pierced open work overlay on top and bottom rims, and graceful filigree leaf design. The base is a 2 socket lamp it is not signed. We identified this lamp from the shade.The lamp measures 24" inches tall. The shade measures 16 inches diameter.We double box, use bubble wrap and peanuts to package your lamp shade. We try to secure safe delivery of very fragile items!Posted with eBay Mobile
