Antique Miniature Pewter Tankard Pub Measure c1900 This superb little pewter tankard style measure is in overall excellent condition and shows general signs of age and related use. I am not entirely sure as to capacity but I hazard a guess that the measure is 1/6 gill. Numerous markings on rim, some can be seen on photos. Marked close to rim and near handle "GILL". Other markings are ”BC” “VR” (with crown above) “GR” (with crown above and date under initials) The tankard is inscribed - please see photographs Measures approx. 2" in height (5 cm)
