Offered is an ANTIQUE Mining Dynamite Blasting Box with Plunger. Please look at the pics because I know nothing about these except what it is. This is a vintage item and it is in as found condition. I have not cleaned it or taken it apart. It may have printing on it or instructions but I will leave that up to the winner to discover. The plunger goes up and down and I can feel the gears resist and turn or something as I pull the plunger up. It has a round shaft and original T wooden handle. The case is made of wood and it is set in a steel or cast metal plate on the bottom. The handle is very old leather although I can still pick it up by the leather strap,it is not ripped or compromised beyond usage(probably replaced years ago). Mostly brass fittings except for parts of the two contacts on top. Very heavy,about 25 pounds. This is obviously for collectors of vintage mining or engineering equippment. What an interesting conversation piece !! In over 40 years I personally have never even seen one. Shipping will depend on your location based on 28 pounds(packaged) shipping weight from zip 14755.
