Rare and lovely item (see Two Notes below) . Low, covered vegetable dish . Produced between 1891 and 1912. By Minton, of Stoke, North Staffordshire, England . Pattern Ivanhoe Floral garlands in blue, rose, purple and gold, suspended from golden braids and tied with turquoise bows. Classic and pretty. Rims, handles, foot and finial trimmed in mustard. Backstamp Crowned globe, pink backstamp used by Minton between 1873 and 1912. (The name England was added in 1891.) Beneath that, name of U.S. retailer: Davis Cottamore & Co. Ltd., FIFTH AVE. & 48th ST., NEW YORK . Written by hand: B910 with a 6 under it.Impressed also with a series of horizontal marks, very difficult to photograph. 's a rough drawing: Condition Excellent. No chips, nicks, cracks or crazing. Some wear to mustard trim on rims, consistent with age. CLOSE-UPS always available. Measurements 3 1/2 " H x about 8 1/2 " W including handles1 pound 2.6 ounces (526 grams) Two Notes 1. Unlike the larger deeper ones, these are not easy to find. 2.
