Up for consideration is a antique mission/arts and crafts rocker. This awesome piece was found in the back of an old warehouse and only needed dusting off to bring out it's mission glory. The beautiful dark sheen of the hand sawn oak is truly stunning.The dramatic keyhole centerpiece upon the back are breathtaking. The armrests have the classic raised squares of the classic mission/stickley era furnishings. T is also a keyhole design cut into the front of the seat. The lower portion of the back is original black leather filled with horse hair type material. T are a few minor separations in this material on the rear of the chair which occured during storage. It appears that the original cushion has gone missing leaving a piece of wood set upon original springs. Ther is one 1 inch end cap missing on one of the rockers. T is also minor separation on one of the rockers and the bottom of the rockers do show age from storage. This chair is amazingly sturdy for its age and is fit for use within any home. This stunning chair has the following measurements, The seat depth is 19.5" by 19", the height of the backrest is 25" by 19.75 from the seat to the top of the backrest.
