Nice Old Antique Moro Barong Sword / keris dagger kris kriss Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Album Here is a very attractive old late 19th to early 20th century Moro barong fighting sword. The sword is 25in. overall, with a massive, thick and heavy, pattern welded blade of 16in. The hilt is wood with a silver ferrule and woven fabric bands for better gripping. The hilt's pommel is beautifully carved with intricate designs. The scabbard is two types of hardwood bound by rattan(restored) and features superb and intricate carving to the top portion and bottom. Fantastic example and nice to see in such complete and excellent condition! There is a $20.00 shipping and insurance fee on this item within the US, more elsewhere.
