is a lovely item to add to your antique collection or for use at the opera. It is a pair of opera glasses. They are made out of Mother of Pearl with brass trim. They have an adjustable viewfinder in the middle of the glasses. We think they are from the 19th century, but are not sure. They are 4" wide at the optics, 9" wide total with the handle, and they are 2" deep, so they are very compact. On the back side of the optics, it says "Iris Paris", which we assume was the company that made this pair of glasses. A true find, bid today!!
