Offered for sale is a beautiful antique Mt. Washington Crown Milano glass cracker jar or biscuit barrel. The cracker jar is hand-painted with beautiful fall colors featuring various colored flowers on the exterior. The cracker jar is numbered on the bottom and it features Pairpoint metal mounts with include the rim, handle, and lid. Overall the cracker jar stands 4 3/8" tall, minus the lid and handle, and it measures about 7" in diameter.The overall condition of the cracker jar is excellent. There are no chips, cracks, or repaired areas. The hand-painted details are bold with vibrant colors and the inside is clean. The exterior has some marks and only minor surface wear, and the base has standard rubbing. The handle functions as it should and it is solidly attached. The metal lid and rim have loss to the plating, and the inside is fairly clean.
