Vintage natural antique Baltic amber necklace Weight: 39,8 grams Color: Egg yolk butterscotch, cognac, honey GOOD VINTAGE CONDITION This is 100% genuine, authentic and natural Baltic Amber. It is not artificial, plastic, synthetic or substitute for amber! Amber - we call it " Gold of Baltic Sea " formed over the millions of years. Amber stone - piece of art - made by Mother Earth. Baltic amber is fossil resin produced by pine trees which grew in Northern Europe about 40-50 million years ago. The resin was washed out of the forest floor by large rivers and transported south towards the sea. In the course of time the resin was transformed to amber due to processes of polymerization and oxidation. Please look at the photos as they are part of the description!
