This is am amazing antique Victorian amber necklace, guaranteed to be made of old authentic natural antique amber beads. The necklace measures 24" long and weighs 40g. The 41 oval, graduated beads measure from 10 mm to 21mm at the center, and are threaded on a gold-colored silk thread with a knot between each bead. The chain is held together by a gold-tone clasp (please see picture). The color of these beads ranges from light honey to warmer, deeper tones. A few beads are lightly translucent. To the best of our ability, we do not see any blemishes, scratches or scars. We know the necklace has been kept for at least 50 years (since the owner’s passing) in a jewelry box in Vienna, Austria.
