Antique Nepal SUPERB AGED MAGIC ARCHAIC SHAMANIC RITUAL PHURBU WITH FIGURES ANTIQUE, AUTHENTIC AND USED SUPERB AGED AND ORIGINAL RITUALLY USED ARCHAIC SHAMANIC PHURBU WITH FIGURES from Nepal, Tribal Mountain Area. These Ritual Phurbus or Phurbas have been used by the Tribal Village Shamans of the Mountain Area in Nepal during their certain tantric rites and pre buddhist shamanic performances. They protected the personal owner against negative forces and demons during his trance and trip to the upper- or underworld. This AGED RITUAL DAGGER consists of reddishbrown hard wood and depicts a wonderful mystic ritual carving related to local shamanic traditions. The top of the handle depicts three very well carved standing human figures with magic looking faces and arms joined in praying gesture. The three sided dagger blade shows wonderful shamanic symbols such as stylized intertwined snakes. Condition: great aged condition, fine deep darkened and shiny age patina, excellent signs of age and ritual use. Age: around mid 20th century. Size: Length of the phurbu 26.5 cm.
