Up for auction is this antique New Haven wall clock. It is a dark wood and has a picture painted of a ship in the ocean and clouds in the background on a glass square. Above this is a section that has a white border with ropes and decoration. Some of this has missing paint. It has a top finial that screws in and I will remove this when I ship it. The face numbers are easy to read but the background looks dirty.The hinge also has been welded it looks like. It has the key and pendjulum. I would say it is a 8day wind-up. I have had it going for 4 days now and it keeps good time. I think it is from the 1930s and maybe older. It measures 37" long and is 10" across w the boat is. It chimes on the hour and the half hour. It needs adjusted because it chimes one hour too many now. This is easy for any clock person to fix. I am selling this clock as is. It is an antique and all I can say is it is working now and I have described any thing I have noticed. This is a great looking old clock and would look nice in any decor.
