Offered for auction is a gorgeous and uniquely shaped NIPPON bowl. This beautiful bowl has a 6 sided hexagon shape with a scalloped top that "folds" outwards. It is hand painted with wonderful purple and white flowers. The 6 corners have a Satsuma detail. It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks. T spots of wear on the brown glaze and t as would be expected for a piece of porcelain this old. It measures 7 inches across at the widest point and 2 inches deep. The opening is just under 5 inches in diameter. The bottom has the green M in wreath Morimura mark. This is a fabulous and unique addition to your vintage NIPPON collection and will display great!
