This exceptional antique oak corner clock is an especially rare treasure.Th carved golden oak cas is designed to hang in a corner of a room. The clock retains its original paper lable clock face.Two aged original mirrors reflect through the glass door in the space below the clock face and movement. The ornate original brass weighted pendalum has a working dial and is marked "Patd MCH 1st 1881". The key is marked "Waterbury Clock Co. USA". We are unsure if it is original to the clock. There are no visible manufacture identifying marks on the clock face or case. We are inexperienced at removing the face to look for labels and are unwilling to do so for fear of damaging this special clock. The clock keeps time beautifully when hung level. The case measures approximately 24" tall x 10" across the front. It is possible that the oak leaves onthe top front of the piece may have been added. This exceptional clock is being sold with a reasonable reserve as a part of an estate liquidation. A rare, unusual, and beautiful timepiece for the collector. PLEASE READ!
