ANTIQUE OAK WALL CRANK CHICAGO SUPPLY TELEPHONE 1900'S Description "Chicago Telephone Supply Co." The Chicago Telephone Supply Company (later to become CTS) was established in Chicago in 1896 . This early 1900's Oak wall-mounted telephone is in excellent condition and ready to display . The crank is still attached to the magneto inside the phone and will ring both brass bells when cranked. All the working parts inside appear to be original. The mouthpiece & bells are solid brass, the cords & cables are all original (with some minimal fraying to the mouth piece cord and electrical tape section in middle of this cord). The cord can be replaced and is available at for $6.75. Stromberg Carlsen Telephone Mfg. Co., of Rochester, New York made the ear piece. The solid oak case with writing shelf at the bottom is in excellent condition and has an inspection label on the inside dated 3/31/44. It measures 18" x 8-1/2" x 5-1/4" (10-1/2" deep with the mouthpiece) and weighs 22 lbs .
