A beautiful oil on canvas still life. A bouquet of old fashioned pink and white roses. Dates to late 1800s and is continental, probably French. There is possibly a name on the stretcher verso - see picture. In good condition, light craquelure but nothing of concern. Comes with an antiqued wide gold frame which has a rustic incised decoration at each corner, good condition and displays well. The canvas size is 28cm x 35cm, including the frame it is 45cm x 51cm. Postage in the UK will be free, to Europe or the USA will be £24. About me - I have been selling on ebay for more than ten years.
