Very rare scenes of early oilfield technology that has almost completely disappeared. In fact some of the systems in this video have ceased operations since the video was made.Contains clear video with audio of three different systems in operation. System 1 is an extremely rare Power House containing a band wheel type power with parts of a Black Bear single cylinder internal combustion engine. This system operated 9 rod line pump jack oil wells from one source. System 2 is an open geared central power operating 8 rod line pump jacks with lots of crisscrossing rod lines.System 3 is an "oil bath" or enclosed gear power operating one rod line pump jack with a counter weight or "dead man" providing counter balance for the system.Lots of rod line action and various types of old pump jacks such as "Oklahoma Pump Jacks" and "Under Pull Jacks" once produced by the famous W.C.
