This is a wonderful opportunity to own this stunning ANTIQUE Walnut Mantel-Style Frame . The hand carving is extraordinary, each minute detail softly widdled into the lavish wood. The exterior is edges with a thick molding that unifies the upper and lower half of the piece, traveling down the arms. In the upper portion, the semi-circular roundels are beautiful, carefully modeled to match one another in a stunning fan effect. There are also small floral bursts above the half-rounds, giving the ornamentation a verticality. There is a lot of beautiful detail packed into this frame! The adornment is all in wonderful condition - no chips or cracks! What a wonderful frame this would make for a mirror or artwork! A piece like this will give any decoration a professional gallery look! There is already hanging hardware attached! A piece like this would sell for hundreds in an antique store!
