Wonderful Jeweled Moriage Violet Portrait Bead Nippon Vase--No Reserve Description Wonderful Antique Moriage Heavily Decorated Vase ~~ A wonderful handpainted Violet Floral Portrait heavily decorated Moriage Vase. It is huge, measuring a 11 inches tall , most likely Nippon, it is unsigned, possibly NPSK . The jeweled bead and pipe slip pottery decoration is of many colors and appears to be near perfect. Note: I noticed a very faint vertical crack (supersize photo 16 & 21 for a look--has not been retouched) in the glaze, barely noticeable at first glance, in the very delicately colored green background mid-section and extends about 1/4 " into the violet portrait--total 1.25 long. The vase itself is embossed with a pattern in the formed vase-look closely for this detail. It features a very ornate double-opening handles and a wide fluted top. Please supersize this beautiful early creation for details to the description.....a lovely masterpiece to add to your collection.
