Otto Fleming Battery Medical Therapy Shocking device, made in Philadelphia.Original, unique antique medical device made by Otto Flemming of Philadelphia. It is called The Flemming Electro-Med Apps Man'fty. Please examine the photos carefully as they serve as key contributions to the description.There are two old Probes/ electrodes with sponges attached. It also has both containers to hold the battery acid. This particular item has a leather strap handle to carry the device, which is unique.This was an electrical shock therapy device. I believe this is complete, but I am not positive. From the information I could find, Otto Flemming created his first device in the late 1880's. I believe this one is about turn of the century, but again not sure. This is a nice piece and displays nicely. It appears to made of oak and it weighs 8.5 pounds. It measures ~9" wide by ~8" high by ~8" deep.Condition is used. Shipped by UPS standard shipping or available for local pickup.
