Antique Oxford Style TUNBRIDGE WARE FRAME FOR HANGING OR STANDING Micro Mosaic Description TUNBRIDGE WARE Victorian Frame for Hanging or Standing Oxford Style Frame This lovely old wooden frame is decorated with a symmetrical geometric micro mosaic design. It is complete with its original hook for hanging and its wooden support for standing. From my research I would believe it to have been made in the mid 1800's. Externally it measures just over 5�" x 3�" The internal picture area measures approximately 3 and 7/8" by 2 and 3/8" This frame is in very good condition with just a spot of damage to the geometric design in the bottom left corner - not obvious but there! (see photo 6) and one square is missing on the far right (see last photo). To be picky there is also a nick at the back from the wood which forms the foot and stores the end of the support (4th photo). At present this holds a contemporary picture behind a perspex cover but this could easily be replaced. Please see photos which enlarge when you Any questions or for more photos please ask.
