ANTIQUE 1800's W P HARTLEY English JAM PRESERVE CROCK JAR. This late 1800's early 1900's Jam Preserve Crock Jar is in good condition, no cracks or chips, there is just some staining on the bottom. It is stamped with the makers name and 'lighthouse logo'. W P HARTLEY LONDON & LIVERPOOL and 'trade mark reg' The firm was named after William Pickles Hartley, 1846-1922, who founded the Hartley Jam Company. It measures 10 cms tall and 8.5 cms in diameter After a long history of being given things, inheriting things from family members who collected, not getting rid of things, liking things and collecting things myself I have decided to start letting things leave. There are a lot of memories in my loft and an eclectic mix of objects some quite old. Over the course of a year or so I'll be going into my loft and bringing things down and I'll be putting some of these items for sale.
