I'm placing for auction a Stunning Antique Northwest Region Native American Basket. This amazing early basket will date back to around the late 1800's. The antique basket is in the exact condition as the pictures reflect, please view the attached pictures for the baskets exact overall condition. The basket is in simply breathtaking overall condition, with an amazing deep design along the side and is truly a cut above. The antique basket has been in my family since the earlier part of the 1900's and as you can see from the attached pictures, it's been well preserved over the years. The basket has been safely sitting on display for almost it's entire life and it shows. The basket was made by a Willamette Valley tribe or a tribe located along the coastal range, of the Pacific Northwest. My great grandmother had told me that this basket was made by the Grande Ronde Native Americans. The color pattern throughout is simply breathtaking (please see the attached pictures). The basket measures a full five and a half by a full five inches across, a full two and three quarter inches tall and a full sixteen inches around.
