This is a Pairpoint pickle castor with lid and tongs in a heron motif with palm trees made of quadruple plated silver which is four times as heavily plated with silver than items marked standard silver plate. The identifying number marked on the bottom is 612. The rim of the castor has chips and one foot is bent. I have not tried to straighten it but you can see how it sits in the photos. The tongs have claw ends and the castor is frosted glass with three heron scenes. It measures 12.5 inches tall, 5.5 inches wide, diameter of castor is 3 inches and 4 3/8 inches high.
