Here is an antique Parian portrait bust of nineteenth century English poet, John Dryden, by Stoke-on-Trent potters J & T Bevington. Skillfully modeled and artistically rendered, this bust stands at 8” tall and is in good condition, with some repaired damage and chip on back of socle as shown in photos. Reverse inscription marked "Dryden J&T B”. This seldom encountered portrait bust is illustrated in Figure 804, page 241 in The Parian Phenomenon.
