Antique Pennsylvania Broad Axe 11" with Curved Offset Hickory Handle.Axe is 28" long, head is 10 3/4" wide with 3 1/2" x 1 1/8" striking face.Overall weight 7 lbs. 1oz. Axe is in very good condition; Blacksmith weld of high carbon to low carbon steel appears as defects.Hickory handle and head fit tight and may be original match.Excellent early broad axe with nicely curved offset in hickory handle.
