Antique Perfection 1887 Laundry Dryer Drier Rack Drying Item Description: We are pleased to offer this wonderful ole primitive wall mounted Drying Rack. It comes with the old stamped metal tag that reads; Perfection Clothes Dryer, Patented Aug 30 1887 L Hopkins North Girard PA. It has a tongue & Groove wooden slot to raise and lower to the desired height. It also has a notched wooden locking mechanism. T a metal bar that slides to open the rack. It has 8 wooden bars to hang clothes, herbs or display linens. The construction and ingenious craftsmanship are certainly present in this piece of Americana. This is a wonderful piece of an Antique Victorian laundry collectible. It could use a little more cleaning and some oil if you choose. It extends from the wall when open 34 inches. The back mount is 37 inches long and 7 inches wide.
