You are bidding on a very nice antique ships oil light made of brass or bronze . Has a heavy red lens which indicates it was to be used as a port light. Only marking I can find is Perkins M.L. Co. Brooklyn,NY located on the oil lamp adjustment wheel for the wick. Measures 7" tall by 6 1/2" wide and 5"deep and weighs a hefty 6 lbs. and 1 oz. Has a nice aged patina which I have not attempted to clean in any way. Has a few holes in the bottom and one in the rear side for screws which appear to be all original for mounting purposes. This is a very nice example of a 19th century ships port light and would make a nice addition to a nautical collection and/ or as a great book end .T are no issues I can find .View the pictures and e-mail me with any questions. Pay-Pal only with payment expected within 48 hours of the close of this auction.Thank you for viewing and good luck bidding!
