I am listing a modest collection of pewter items from my mother's estate. These items are all original and most are from before 1800, with nice hallmarks indicating British manufacture. I am certain of their authenticity as they have been in the family for years and were all brought over from Holland fifty years ago. Note I am not an expert on this material, but I will do the best I can answering questions. If you'd like to contribute your opinion it will certainly be appreciated. This auction is for a plain plate marked with English hallmarks. It is 10" indiameter and is heavily hallmarked, with the Crown and Rose, a crown/B+P, three other small hallmarks and a 'London' stamp. Condition is very good to excellent, one minor crack in the rim, very little warping. B+P is believed to be the mark of Bush and Perkins in Bristol, who were active circa 1770 - 1775. Refer to images. Money orders preferred, checks take longer to clear; no PayPal or such. I will ship overseas but be aware that this may cost some money. Also be aware that you may end up owing some import duties; please do not ask me to help you avoid them, as I will not do so under any circumstance.
