Antique Pewter/Silverplate Tray Boy, Rabbits, Birds Antique Pewter/Silverplate Tray Boy, Rabbits, Birds This auction is for this silver plated pewter tray that is Art Deco in decor, octagonal in shape, and is decorated in the center with a cute Cherub like baby boy holding a rabbit on his lap while two smaller ones are frolicking in the grass next to his feet. Two birds in a tree are watching this bucolic scene - the whole scene is in high relief. Most of the silver plate has worn. The rim of the try is decorated in cut out filigree design. The back bears the stock number 374 and a hook for hanging on the wall. This tray is German, circa 1920's and was probably used to receive visitors business cards.
