Up for sale is a 1934 Philco antique tube radio model 66 in a two tone tombstone cabinet with "radio waves" like grill bars and a shadow box dial. It is a 5 tube AM/Police radio with four controls for volume, tone, band selector and tuning. Radio was recapped, tubes checked and replaced as needed. New dial light and external antenna were installed. AM reception is good and clear. Band selector control is "locked" on AM. No activities on Police band anyway. Case was cleaned, hand rubbed with finish restorer and coated with clear lacquer. There are some scuffs, wood blemishes and finish imperfections (see pictures) New vintage Philco Chevron grill cloth was installed. All Philco knobs are present and operate properly (except as noted above) Paper stickers and model tag are present.
