These two frames are wood with gold paint and have metal bases, also gold painted. One measures 11 x 9 and the other is 10 x 8. The metal base is ornate and has a manufacturer and number on the bottom, E J S Manufacturing, N. Y The 11 x 9 has the No.83 and the 10 x 8 has the No. 98. The paint is decent with just minor chipping especially for the age... not bad at all. The wood is fine. The smaller one is a bit crooked, but can be adjusted I'm sure.
