These items for auction are a Four Piece Barbour Brothers Silver plate Tea or Coffee Set, made in Hartford, Conn., in the late 1800's. All pieces have matching engraving, on the sides. All pieces have a raised grape or berry with leaf design, on their handles. The Sugar Bowl has the matching cover to the Tea or Coffee Pot. All items are in real good condition, for their age, not all dinged up and scratched. All pieces are signed, on the bottom, with the impressed mark, of, BARBOUR BROS. SILVER QUADRUPLE, with the number 998.Barbour Bros. was bought out by the International Silver Co., in 1898. Nice early ones, in real good shape.
