This auction is for a old Pig Weathervane/Lightning Rod Directional Arrow that came from a Missouri estate. It measures 21 5/8" x 5 3/8". The metal pig which I think is zinc measures 9" x 5". The arrow is cast iron and is straight. The back part of the arrow that the pig stands on is designed with twisted metal. It appears that a piece that originally went to one of the back legs is broken. I have a close up of it in the pictures. As you can see this little piggy was used for target practice and has several bullet holes in his body. The legs, ears, nose, and tail are intact and the pig is secure on the arrow. It is weathered from lots of years on the barn and the cast iron arrow has some rust. I am guessing this one dates back to the 1920-30's. This is a great old piece of primitive folk art to add to your Weathervane/ Lightning Rod collection or to display with your primitive decor. It is coming to you as found and is being sold As Is. Please contact me with any questions before you bid. Check out my other auctions. I am listing other antique weathervane/lightning rod directional arrows today and I will gladly discount shipping on multiple purchases. Thanks for Looking
