A superior antique Staffordshire pitcher and wash basin by Booths of Tunstal, Staffordshire England. Both pitcher and basin bear an early mid 1700's Booths impress imprint mark with an additional early 19th century Booths mark used between 1880-1906 T are no chips cracks repairs or other conditional damage issues present in either peice outside of 1 minor shallow flake in the finish on the rim of the basin with only slight crazing to report. The beautiful pink and green floral ribbons and roses pattern trails the white porcelain china body in a lovely contrast with just the right balance of tasteful gold gilt detailing applied that shows only a slight fading paticularly near the pitchers spout rim. Heavy weighted durable construction. Research shows this as being the only one of it's kind listed at auction or circulating to date no matches w found in past auction records.
