This is the Pittsburgh lamp base used for a reverse painted or slag glass lamp. This base is properly signed P.L.B. & G. CO #2003 & #2051. It is free of any damage. It stands 19 1/2 inches to the top of the shade rest and 8 inches in diameter. It has a nice Hunter Green finish and I have listed a picture from a Pittsburgh catalog to verify authenticity. It has some detail and charm. Please view all the pictures. The base has 2 brass pull chain sockets with porcelain innards and are marked 250 W 250 V Pat. July, 6 1909 and a F inside of a circle. It has been rewired with a brown cloth cord. You know nice bases are getting harder to find. This is a great base if you have the shade to compliment it. Please ask ANY and ALL questions prior to bidding. I'll start it out at $50.00 and we'll see w it ends up. Don't wait until the last minute and get sniped out. The winning bidder will pay a fixed shipping fee of $20.00 and insurance is required for the final value. I will send the winner an invoice with the totals after the auction ends and payment must be received within 7 days of the auction end. I accept personal checks, money orders and cashiers checks.
