It is a small size old electric fan.The "Polar Cub" fan is only 8" tall. The patent date on the brass label is 1921. Made by the A.C. Gilbert Co. of New Haven Conn. Made in the U.S.A.It has a solid brass 6" blade. It weighs 2 1/4 pounds.The fan still has the original brass badge on the cage.The fan runs. -When plugged in, we gave the blade a flip. It started to run. It doesn't run as fast as it should, and the motor is loud. It has not been run for years.From a Kansas City estate.
