Item Description While starting bids may vary I ALWAYS POST WITH NO RESERVE !! Up for auction is a very unique perfume bottle. I suppose it could also be some kind of snuff bottle (?). It has a curvey round shape and some really exceptional little paintings on it. The floral designs are very delicate and accented in gold. The design style reminds me of the paintings you see on pottery by Mount Washington. From what I can tell there is no measureable loss to any of the design but perhaps a little wear to the gold accents. I am uncertain as to exact age. I believe it is American made because of the aged stamp that is still on the bottom. I think the little finial stopper used to be more golden in color but with age and handling most of the gold is worn. There are no chips, cracks or repairs to the bottle. Only some wear to the bottom as you would expect from being moved about on surfaces. The metal stopper still has it's original cork on the end as you'll see in the photos. It is a very clean bottle. I did get some information from a fellow ebayer that it is ceramic and made by an old novelty company. With the stopper in place it is 4 5/8 inches tall to the top of the metal stopper. It is 2 inches across at the widest part which is the middle of the bottom sectioni. If you are intrigued with unique perfume bottles then you might want to add this to your collection.
