Up for auction is an antique Villeroy & Boch (" MEHL" for Flour) Flour/Salt Box..This porcelain canister was made over 100 years ago by the famous, Villeroy & Boch, Dresden, Germany. It is in beautiful condition all around, no chips just a barely visible hairline crack on the top left. The wooden cover opens smoothly and is also in very nice condition. On the bottom it's stamped Villeroy & Boch, Dresden. Weighs about 4lbs, width is 7", 4 1/2" deep, and is 8 3/4" high. This canister could be used for flour, salt, spices, etc..
