Antique Pottery Bowl with Eggshells Original Oil Painting by Mary Ashley 4x6 My favorite old bowl and eggshells. Wow! Eggs are not easy to paint! But still lots of fun! I will try to remember to take the "painting in process" photos for those who have asked. There is one taken almost finished and still on my easel. Properties: Oil on RayMar canvas board. Size: 4" x 6" Signed: by the artist, front and back. Shipping: Please will be shipped in 5 days or so for painting to dry before shipping. About the Painting: Painted in one day from my still life setting. This painting will arrive varnished and unframed, ready to display. About the artist: Born and raised in Kansas, married and moved to Southern California. I painted on my days off, entering art shows and selling paintings of the area while working as a Surgical Nurse. While vacationing in the Ozarks, found myself drawn to the beauty of the Landscape, and have been living here ever since. I normally paint landscapes but this year I decided to try still life painting and love it! I especially love the Old Dutch Masters and their styles. As an artist I’m always trying to keep things fresh, not only for my collectors but for myself as well. I want to continue to grow and take a few chances with my art.
