ANTIQUE PRIMITIVE CAST IRON HORSE SHOE SHINE STAND Antique cast iron horse from an antique shoe shine stand. The height of the horse is 6 5/8 inches high, the shoe plate on the top where you place your foot while getting your shoe shined is 6 7/8 inches long. The weight is 2 pounds 12 ounces. You can see some of black paint below this wonderful primitive grey-green paint. This early horse shoe shine stand dates in the 1800’s and has survived in wonderful condition, having been kept inside out of the elements all these years. These figural shoe stands usually are found in very rusted and pitted condition and this one has only minimal rust in spots the paint has wore off, especially on the top where you place your foot. The bottom of this one that was probably never painted has some light rust but it looks worse in my photo than it really is. SEE many large photos of the horse including the bottom below this description. The horse will be mailed in the medium flat rate priority box with insurance and delivery confirmation. I am not accepting returns as these are estate items. I will be sure to describe my items the best I can and note any flaws. New York State buyers pay 8 percent sales tax.
