This is a wonderful antique Child's Stepback Cupboard in original condition and being offered for bidding with No Reserve! It is a Child-Sized version of the Stepback Cupboard, which could be found in most early American homes and a favorite for collectors of American country and primitive antiques. This Child-Sized Stepback Cupboard dates from about the 1890's and was made completely by hand for a lucky little girl. It has two doors on the bottom, two on top w the cupboard steps back 4". A wooden latch was added at some time to assure the top left door remained closed. The primary wood is southern heart-pine. A wonderful feature is the lining with decorative trim which was hand cut for the shelves. This child-sized cupboard measures 25.5" h x 17.5" w x 11.25" d. It is in wonderful condition for its approximate 120 years of age! This Child's Stepback Cupboard is full of character and hard to resist!!! No Reserve!
