In This auction I have this very old primitive Plane that works wonderfully!! It was my husbands great grandfather's tool and my husband is 56 years old. So I am uncertain how old this is but definetly over 100 years old. We have tested it and it works great!! All the parts are t It is made of what looks like pure Steel or Iron and is very heavy, which makes it nice to shave wood with because this tool pretty much does it by itself because of the weight. It measures 22" Long and 3" Wide. The handle parts are made of an iron wood. It is definetly wood but feels extremely solid. We are in no use of this tool as we do very, very little woodworking around the house. The winning bidder will absolutely like this piece whether you use it as a collector's item or use of the item.
