Antique copperplate print titled SNOWY RANGE, FROM LANDOUR, a scene in the Himalayas drawn by H.Melville from a sketch by G.F.White, engraved by S. Lacey, and published by Fisher, Son & Co. We found the print, loose & unmounted, while searching through the stock of an antiquarian print shop that has been in storage for the past 40 years, ever since a member of our family closed the shop. We do not know the origin of this print, but we can date it with accuracy for the firm of Fisher, Son & Co ceased trading under that name in 1840. NB. There is minor foxing in the outer surround which would not be visible when the print was mounted and framed.PAGE SIZE 210mmx275mmSUITABLE FOR MOUNTING AND FRAMINGIN VERY GOOD ANTIQUARIAN CONDITION - AND OVER 170 YEARS OLD
